Clarifying the Experience
The Myth of Balance
Love and hate, right and wrong, good and bad, are all human constructs. Even time and balance are human constructs. What happens if we take them out of how we perceive the world around us?
Let’s start with some basic ideas.
Energy and experience are completely neutral. The only thing that makes them not neutral is human judgment.
God is the God of all that is. God is the flow of everything with an all-encompassing acceptance of all of it.
God does not manage experience. God does not manage balance. The balance is natural and takes care of itself. The balance is energetic It’s a neutral balance.
The concept of balance offers the human mind a perceived protective limitation. “I won’t get more than I can handle.” Balance only offers us a way to reconcile the duality of experience, but it’s not completely true in the sense that nothing is actually creating or forcing a balance because the energy is always balanced without intervention.
Essentially we’ve taken the chains off and we’re free-wheeling! There is a ton of freedom in this!
Without all the constraints we are quickly given the ability to make the experience into anything we want. The ideas of pain and suffering become truly optional. We can create helpful meanings from any experience by simply shifting our focus away from the pain and the parts of the experience we can’t control.
The balance is inherent in the flow of energy that’s been used to create the world we live in. We don’t have to control, affect, or change that balance.
We are human though, and that means that we attract and repel energy because we are energetic beings naturally. The way we’re able to perceive the energy is through the experience, thoughts, and feelings we have. The only thing that makes any of that negative is our judgment of it.
During the podcast episode I recorded today (it’ll be out on Saturday), if you listen to it you’ll notice where I tripped on this idea. I didn’t completely reconcile it during my recording, so I wanted to reconcile it in writing, through both this and the blog I just finished writing.
