The Rebellion Explained
It’s been a minute. Well, let’s just say I’ve been arguing with my own beliefs. Why? Because I have found myself on the fringe of “normal” and I guess you could say I got spooked.
Yep, I spooked myself with my own ideas and beliefs.
How does that happen?
Question your own beliefs while not paying a ton of attention to where you are versus where you started and you’ll find yourself lost, dazed, and confused just like I did.
It’s actually a good thing. It forced me into a needed pause to make sure I was okay with myself and where I was going. Honestly, I argued with it for a bit, especially given current events.
I have a very radical vision of society that I’ve created over time. The idea is to remove scarcity so that everybody is fully supported with food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, and education, while also freeing everybody to be exactly who they are, including the pain they choose to express. I’m talking about things like radical free speech, a society not based on punishment or judgment, morality as an individual construct versus something that is shared among a large group, and societies created around resources instead of shared morals or “realities”.
When I say that, particularly from where we are now, it seems crazy. The world would blow up if we tried that without implementing a very careful, logical, transparent plan. It also requires each individual to take full responsibility for themselves, not materially, but emotionally and mentally. It requires a level of self-mastery, healing, and self-awareness that most just don’t have and many are afraid to work toward.
If you’re interested, I have written a blueprint for how I envision society. It is freely available on The Rebel Philosopher’s Notes. What that blueprint doesn’t outline is the individual journey that also has to take place in order for my vision to work and not end up in anarchy. It is far from a complete guideline, but it is more than enough for you to see where I believe we should be going.
Am I starting a cause?
Yes and no. Politics is not something I’m interested in. I’m not becoming an activist. I’m focused solely on the individual journey. The goal is to use philosophy, spirituality, and self-mastery as a means of shifting how we view ourselves, the world around us, and our role in the world. This encompasses many of the things I’ve been talking about for years and adds some new ideas that I’ve gained from philosophy and intertwined with spirituality. While I’m not directly starting a cause, I am encouraging people to shift their perspectives in a pretty radical way.
I’m going to challenge you to open up to new ideas and new ways of seeing things. I put up the first episode of my podcast today, The Rebellion Insider Podcast, hosted right here on Substack. I’m going to be using that to continue exploring the perspective shift that I’ve taken on and encourage others to follow me along on their own journey.
If you’re interested in some radical ways of thinking, some new ideas, and some unique twists on many spiritual principles, follow me along. It’s going to be quite the journey and I’d love for you to join me!
Love to all.
